The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has issued an award of best performing Business Development Service Provider in Nigeria to Prince Samben Nwosu.
Prince Nwosu received the award at the ongoing Annual SMEDAN 2025 MSME Conference, currently holding at the Federal Palace Hotel Lagos, Nigeria, with the theme;” Building a Future of Innovation, Resilience, and Prosperity.”
The ceremony which was well attended by the Honourable Minister for Trade and Commerce, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole; the DG of SMEDAN, Charles Odi; governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Uba Sani; notable captains of industries and small business operators, discussed strategies for MSME growth and developments across the country.
This prestigious award, according to Charles Odi, the Director General of SMEDAN, was in recognition for Nwosu’s outstanding contributions towards supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME’s) in Nigeria.
The group said that as a certified BDSP, Nwosu has demonstrated exceptional expertise in providing business development services, including guidance on strategy, performance, competitiveness, and access to finance.
It is important to note that Samben Nwosu Ranks Best Performing BDSP among over nine hundred (900) SMEDAN licensed BDSP’s in Nigeria. His achievement is a testament to the impact of BDSPs in driving business growth and job creation in Nigeria.
The SMEDAN National BDSPs Certification and Accreditation Framework aims to promote quality and professionalism in business development services, and Nwosu’s award is a shining example of excellence in this field.
While reacting to the prestigious recognition, Prince Samben Nwosu expressed his deepest gratitude to God Almighty and SMEDAN that found him worthy of the recognition.
He promised to continue doing his best as a BDSP in order to ensure that President Tinubu’s agenda of “Think Big and Start Small” through SMEDAN is achieved in the entire of Nigeria.
