The People Democratic Party [PDP] has written the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho in a two paged letter requesting that the Chief Judge pay a particular attention to a trend that has been occurring with cases that concern PDP cases.
The PDP letter which was signed by the National Secretary of the party, Amb Taofeek Arapaja and dated November 19, 2025 named three Judges as Judges of Particular Concern
- Justice James Omotoso
- Justice Peter Odo Lifu
- Justice Abdulmalik
The letter reads that the High Court has twelve Judges which as available to be assigned PDP cases. But for reasons that remain unclear, PDP cases are assigned repeatedly to the above mentioned three Judges.

The PDP pleaded with the Chief Justice of Nigeria to ensure that Justice is duly served both in the public perception and to the Courts. For this reason, the party requested for all cases concerning the PDP not to be assigned to the three mentioned Judges…”since justice is rooted in trust and integrity“.
The letter expressed appreciation to the judiciary led by the Chief Judge as one with integrity and trust.
