The Traditional Ruler of Oba Community, Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State, His Majesty, Igwe Engr Augustine Chinedu Emelobe has warmly congratulated His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Soludo on his well deserved victory in the recently concluded Anambra gubernatorial election.
In a press statement concerning the reelection of the Governor Chukwuma Soludo on November 8, 2025 and the Certificate Return given to him and his Deputy, Dr Onyeka Ibezim yesterday, Igwe Engr Emelobe was elated that Oba community was part of the electorate that fully gave his Excellency their mandate by voting massively for the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA party.
He described the reelection as well deserved saying that the Governor did marvelously well in first tenure and deserved a second term to complete his aspirations to make Anambra State industrial hub in Africa saying that for the very first time Oba people decided to speak one mind by giving him the highest number of votes in Idemili South LGA.
“I on behalf of my town, Oba Ebo Itenani wants to congratulate His Excellency Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, (Oluatuegwu) on his well deserved and long predicted victory in the Anambra polls.
“Governor Soludo with his Deputy Onyeka Ibezim did very well in his first tenure and Anambra people are proud of him and our party APGA. We also recognize the doggedness and impact of our dear Mayor, Hon Mrs Amaka Obi (Iyom Ifeabata) who carries everyone along at the grassroot level in Idemili South Local Government Area. Here, in the home front, Engr Anthony Uzo Ejiofor has also not relented in ensuring that our community Oba aligns with the Solution mantra of His Excellency and the APGA party. Oba as a town is proud to associate with you all.
“His Excellency Oluatuegwu has turned Anambra State into an infrastructural hub. So far so good. We the people of Oba are proud of his exploits and we know that this is just a tip of the iceberg compared to what he has for Anambra State.We are confident that under Soludo’s leadership, Anambra State will continue to experience growth, peace, and prosperity.
“Oba community wishes Soludo well and of course we know that what he has started he must finish. We are in support of him and that was why the people of Oba took him as our collective project to ensure that he won by voting massively for him to complete a second term in office because the reward for good work is more work.
“This is the first time in history where Oba community voted enmass for APGA and Soludo contributing 4,141 votes which is the highest in Idemili South.
“Oba people and community have joined the political train. We need dividends of democracy to encourage us. We hope that His Excellency Oluatuegwu will remember Oba community in both his political appointments, Human Capital and infrastructural developments.
“Once again, congratulations on your re-election, Charlie Nwanmgbafor Oluatuegwu We wish you God’s guidance, more inspiration and protection as you continue in your vision to make Anambra State the Dubai Taiwan of Africa, a liveable and prosperous homeland,”
