The All Progressives Congress( APC ) has boasted that it has eight days to end the control of the All Progressives Grand Alliance( APGA) in Anambra state .

This is coming as the duo of the Vice President Shettima and Send Chris Ngige was absent at the rally as against the touting by the party that they would be at the rally.

Though no reason was given for their absence and all efforts to obtain reasons for this development proved abortive as neither the Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu Campaign Council nor the state Chairman of the party Chief Basil Ejidike offered to speak.

When contacted on phone Sen Chris Ngige could not be reached an deepening the confusion was that most of the founding fathers of the APC from the defunct Action Congress AC and Action Congress of Nigeria ACN were absent at the function.

Recall that the APC had announced that President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Vice President Shettima and all the Governors of the party’s extraction would grace the occasion however i Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo state and Senate President God’s Will Akpabio and the National Chairman of the party, Prof Nentawe Yiwaltda remedied the situation.

Speaking at the rally, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prof. Nentawe Yiwaltda prophesied that APC would end the 19-year old reign of the All Progressives Grand Alliace, APGA’ in Anambra state on November 8, barely eight days and 196 hours.

Yilwatda who made the prophesy on Friday at the All Saints Anglican Church Cathedral, Onitsha during the party’s national governorship campaign rally for it’s candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, said APC is a messenger of Hope and himself is in Anambra to deliver that message of hope.

According to him, “APC will uproot APGA within the remaining eight days and 196 hours to end their reign in this state. We in the APC cannot afford to allow APGA to continue to be governing an important state like Anambra as an adopted son when we have our own son in the person of Ukachukwu”.
