In a strategic move to consolidate support ahead of the 2027 general elections, Hon. Ahmed Abdullahi, popularly known as (Babangida Manager), has called for unity and mutual understanding among members and supporters of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Dass Local Government Area (LGA). He made this appeal during the PDP Stakeholders Meeting held in Dass over the weekend.
Addressing party leaders, youth groups, women leaders, and other critical stakeholders, Hon. Abdullahi emphasized the need for harmony and a collective focus on the progress achieved under the PDP-led administration of His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State.
“The PDP in Dass LGA has no reason to lose any election, considering the massive development projects witnessed under Governor Bala Mohammed’s leadership. We must put aside personal interests and differences for the greater good of the party,” Hon. Abdullahi stated.
He praised the governor for his visionary governance and infrastructural transformation of Dass, highlighting the importance of continuity and party loyalty to ensure the ongoing progress is sustained.
Describing PDP stakeholders as the “pillars” of the party in Dass, the lawmaker urged them to take responsibility in mobilizing grassroots support and ensuring the party remains united and focused as the 2027 elections approach.
Hon. Ahmed Abdullahi, who currently serves in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, has been widely acclaimed as one of the most effective and impactful lawmakers in the history of Dass LGA. Under his watch, numerous constituency projects have been implemented, including improvements in education, healthcare, rural electrification, and road infrastructure.
His contributions have not gone unnoticed, as several community leaders and party faithful at the meeting described him as a symbol of purposeful representation and grassroots development.
As the PDP gears up for what promises to be a pivotal election season, stakeholders believe that with leaders like Hon. Ahmed Abdullahi and the continued performance of the Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed administration, the party stands on solid ground to retain its dominance in Dass and across Bauchi State.
