Ojukwu University VC Tussle; Omenugha To Serve Till 2028 Says Soludo

Gov Charles Soludo of Anambra has finally shut up opponents of the Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Igbariam Prof Kate Omenugha announcing that she would serve till the year 2028.

Soludo further described the petitioners and fellow contestants against the election of Omenugha as those whose claims of being professors are questionable announcing that soon their qualifications would come under investigation.

Recall that after the emergence of Prof Kate Omenugha some agrived members of the University community and some of her fellow contestants has petitioned the governor contending that the process was not free fair and transparent calling for a review of the election.

Speaking during the inauguration of the 489 members of his Campaign Council Soludo on sighting Omenugha at the occasion described her as eminently qualified to be the Vice Chancellor of the institution.

He noted that some of the contestants ought not to be professors in the first instance.

“You are the best and let those who are talking continue to talk and most of these people protesting should not have been professors in the first instance”

“When the time comes we shall come to that and very soon we shall expose them because they ought not to have been professors in the first instance”

“You are very eminently qualified to be the Vice Chancellor and Chukwuemaka Odumegwu Ojukwu University had the best as the Vice Chancellor s d the very best and no one can compete with you”

“You will serve till 2028 and there is no doubt about that ” he said.
