Igbos In Abuja Laments Fractionalization Amongst Members

The Igbos resident in Abuja Federal Capital Territory have lamented over what they described as so much fractionalization amongst them describing it as a disservice to the Igbo Nation.

The Igbos under the umbrella of Igbo Community in Abuja noted that moves have reached advanced stages towards uniting all factions for them to homogeneous.

According to the leader of the Igbos in Abuja Engr Ikenna Ellis Ezenekwe who spoke to reporters ,

“We are aware of so many factions within the Igbo people leaving in Abuja and these factions have not bettered our interest”

“It has also affected the unity of purpose of our people as one race hence the need for the unification ”

“We have been reaching out on those our brothers and sisters urging them to see the need for that unity” he said.

Also speaking the former Treasurer of the Igbo Community leaving in Abuja Chief Paschal Chinkata said that the unity is timely adding that as people resident in Abuja we are also poised towards helping in the socioeconomic development of Abuja and the South East.
