Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in Anambra state Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye has described the attacks on the administration of Gov Charles Soludo as mere rantings contending that they cannot be distracted.
Obi-Okoye who spoke to New Telegraph in Awka further stated that there is no formidable opposition in the November 8th gubernatorial election adding that the electorates already know were to vote on election day.
Speaking ahead of the proposed inauguration of the Soludo campaign Council Obi-Okoye explained that ;
“What we are inaugurating is a Victory Campaign Council and the Council is made up of the twenty one Mayors and their Deputy Mayors as well as other stakeholders of the party and you know that we have over forty support groups for Soludo across the three Senatorial Districts”
“With only there support groups we are even good to go let alone the campaign Council that would be set up this coming Friday? ”
Continuing Obi-Okoye dismissed the Campaign Councils of other gubernatorial candidates noting that most of them do not believe in the course that they are pursuing ”
“There some who were here with us and due to questions about performance and delivery in their former respective portfolios they were dropped and these are the caliber of people that are holding positions in those cloned campaign Councils and speaks volume of the kind and brand of governance that they would show case before Anambra people in the unlikely event of being in power ”
“,A lot of parties and their candidates felt that we are not going to set up our campaign Council but according to Gov Charles Soludo we were taking our time and the time has come and we are set for the election and what I call the Council is Solution Victory Campaign Council ” he said.
Obi-Okoye further said that the highest campaign machinery for the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA and Gov Charles Soludo is the great infrastructural development that is on going and completed in the state adding that the Council is mere icing on the cake .
