A leading support group of the opposition African Democratic Congress known as ADC Youth Frontiers has lambasted the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress over remarks made against it’s national secretary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
In a statement released to newsmen in Abuja on Sunday by the national publicity secretary of the group, Apostle Edwin Abor, the group said APC is already in panic mode over the mass acceptance accorded to ADC by Nigerians.
Adding that APC frittered away the goodwill it used to enjoy among Nigerians on the altar of bad governance, clueless leadership, hyper-inflation, unbearable hardships in the land, insecurity and anti-people policies.
Noting that a child on the street of Lagos or Abuja knows that APC is only buying time and no amount of mudslinging or attack against our national secretary or manipulation of economic statistics to deceive Nigerians can bring back the lost fortunes of the party.
Hence, instead of attacking our national secretary for stating the obvious about ADC forming the next government in Asorock and Lagos State in 2027, the APC should be showing remorse for turning Nigeria in to a massive graveyard where Nigerians killed by it’s clueless policies are buried.
Finally, we will not glorify APC in it’s trivialities by engaging in personal profiling when we are supposed to be proffering solutions to decrepit infrastructures, youth unemployment, insecurity and the whole rest of other national challenges facing us as a nation.
It’s because APC has no coherent agenda for the nation that makes it to thrive in trivialities and ADC will not indulge in that because we cherish the trust Nigerians have invested in our party.
Signed:
Apostle Edwin Abor,
National Publicity Secretary,
ADC Youth Frontiers
