In a show of solidarity and compassion, the Yakubun Bauchi Ambassadors Forum, under the leadership of Daure David, paid a condolence visit to Mai Anguwa Sabon Kaura, Mr. Yakubu Waje, and his son Ayuba Yakubu, the Youth Leader of ECWA Church, following the painful loss of Mrs. Waje.
The delegation joined mourners at the funeral service held at ECWA Church, Sabon Kaura, Bauchi, where heartfelt tributes were offered in memory of the late matriarch. The service was attended by family members, friends, and community leaders, all gathered to honor a life marked by faith, kindness, and devotion.
Following the church service, the body was laid to rest at the Christian Cemetery in Yelwan Tudu, Bauchi, in accordance with Christian burial rites.
On Behalf Of Yakubu Adamu PhD Speaking during the visit, Daure David conveyed the Forum’s deepest sympathies, describing the late Mrs. Waje as “a woman of virtue whose legacy will continue to inspire those she left behind.”
“We pray for her soul to rest in eternal peace and ask that God grants the family and loved ones the strength to bear this great loss,” he added.
The Yakubun Bauchi Ambassadors Forum reaffirmed its commitment to standing by community members in times of grief, emphasizing the importance of unity, empathy, and shared humanity.
Mrs. Waje is survived by her husband, Mr. Yakubu Waje, and children including Ayuba Yakubu, whose leadership in the ECWA youth community reflects the values instilled by his late mother. Her passing is deeply felt across Sabon Kaura and beyond.
