In a vibrant show of political unity and grassroots mobilization, the Yakubun Bauchi Ambassador Forum (YBAF) Bogoro, Dass, and Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area (LGA) chapter held a Solidarity Rally in support of two prominent aspirants vying for key positions in Bauchi State’s 2027 general elections.
The rally, which will drew hundreds of enthusiastic supporters, was organized under the leadership of Comrade Landi Markus and Mr. Steve Sara, and aimed to galvanize support for Hon. Yakubu Adamu, PhD, who they are demanding he contest for the Governorship of Bauchi State, and Engr. Shamsudeen Bala, the senatorial hopeful for Bauchi South 2027.
Speaking at the planning committee meeting, Comr. Markus emphasized the importance of visionary leadership and grassroots engagement. “Hon. Yakubu Adamu has demonstrated unwavering commitment to development, education, and youth empowerment. His candidacy represents a new dawn for Bauchi State,” he said.
Mr. Steve Sara echoed similar sentiments, describing Hon Yakubu Adamu and Engr. Shamsudeen Bala as “a individuals with a proven track record in community and public service they rendered.” He added, “Bauchi State and South needs a Leaders who understands the challenges of our communities and can advocate effectively at the state and national level.”
The rally will featured cultural displays, solidarity speeches from community leaders, and testimonials from youth and women groups who expressed confidence in the leadership qualities of the two aspirants.
On behalf of Hon. Yakubu Adamu represented by Daure David at the planning committee meeting, in his address, thanked the Forum for their support and pledged to prioritize inclusive governance, agricultural development, Health and educational reform if elected. He also reaffirmed Engr Shamsudeen commitment to Youth development which is a sign of a legislative excellence and regional development.
The Yakubun Bauchi Ambassador Forum has been instrumental in promoting civic engagement and political awareness across Bauchi State, and this rally marks a significant step in their ongoing efforts to shape the future of the region through democratic participation.
As the 2025 elections draw closer, the momentum generated by events like this Solidarity Rally is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the political landscape of Bauchi State.
