The Coalition Grassroot Network for Ali Pate, has appeal to all Stakeholders in the All Progressives Congress APC to unify themselves and accept the coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare Professor Muhammad Ali Pate as a consensus candidate capable of bridging internal party divisions in the forth coming 2027 Governorship election.

said this when he addressed reporters in Bauchi He said” the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare Professor. Muhammad Ali Pate, pledged to answer their call to contest for the Bauchi State Governorship in 2027 under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Adamu said when we met with the minister and present our request for him to contest from the grassroots in 20 local government areas of the State, he has explained clearly that he will be ready to serve the Bauchi people, even though he’s currently preoccupied with delivering on the mandate given him by President Bola Tinubu.
“I am ready to serve the people of our dear Bauchi State in 2027 Governorship election , but it’s also with a mission to develop the state, but also to develop our country,”
Chairman said that there was the need for all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to move in one direction if the plan to displace the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state will come to fruition and this will work if all stakeholders bury their differences and choose charismatic and examplary leader like Professor Pate as a consensus candidate.
Adamu “Professor Pate is very closely connected with the grassroots in the state, he knows the issues facing the state which are very clear. and he is ready to address it ,if he become the Governor of our dear State.
He said “Pate said contesting for the governorship seat in 2027, will be possible when that decision is made in conjunction with all stakeholders, but he’s currently focused primarily on delivering the job given him by Tinubu, noting that when the time comes, the plan will be made public.”
Adamu said the grassroot coalition is now working with all the stakeholders in Bauchi State, towards unifying the party so that we have a strong platform at all levels that we can deliver for the president, deliver for the party, and deliver ultimately for the state,”
He said there is the need to unify APC in Bauchi, to support the president to achieve what he is trying to achieve now, and also what comes off in 2027 to support Pate as the best and acceptable candidate, this will help us to have a successful alignment between the president’s success and also what happens at the subnational level.
Chairman said today Bauchi as a progressive state, we don’t want any thing that will undermine the progress of the state, we are promoting Pate as a nationalist, examplary leader and result oriented son of Bauchi
“Where ever Professor Pate works he focuses on development, on delivering on the mandate that he have, but also for Bauchi, which will translate into development for the people of Bauchi State.
Adamu said Pate focus is really to see what we can do to build, not to really divide the polity in Bauchi,”
We are happy to hear that he accept our call by explaining his readiness to serve our dear State,if political stakeholders align towards a common goal and we are working tirelessly to see the unity and acceptability within the party.
Prof Pate is a globally recognised public health expert who has held top positions, including serving as Nigeria’s Minister of State for Health and as the former Global Director for Health, Nutrition, and Population at the World Bank and in February 2023, he was appointed CEO of GAVI – the Vaccine Alliance, an organization dedicated to providing vaccines in low-income countries.
His recent appointment as the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu further solidified his standing as a key figure in national governance.,
