The party further contended that instead of spending over N200 Million for the widow’s election they should channel the said sum into establishing a business venture for the widow’ and future of her children.

Widow of late Azuka is alleged as being sponsor by Sen Tony Nwoye, Idu Emeka and the Labor Party to replace her late husband’s seat at the Anambra state House of Assembly.

Recall that Labor Party Assembly member,Justice Azuka of Onitsha North 1 Constituency was kidnaped last year and ultimately murdered by his abductors even when ransom was paid .

According to the Coordinator APGA Media Warriors Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe, Azuka’s widow should have been allowed to take care of her little children and prepare for their future than dabble into politics.

Obigwe further contended that after the by election the widow would be abandoned by the party and Sen Nwoye when she has failed to win the election.

“This is a widow that is supposed to be mourning the unfortunate demise of his husband and looking after their children but she has unfortunately abdicated that responsibility to be chasing shadows in the guise of contesting the August 16th bye election”

“The truth that I told someone I know that he is close to Tony Nwoye is that they are not helping Justin Azuka rather they are destroying her and committing the sacrilegious sin of making the woman not to focus her attention in taking care of the kids Azuka left behind for her”

I also told the man that if actually Tony Nwoye, idu Emeka and others pushing Justin Azuka to contest the August 16th bye election care about her welfare and that of Azuka children that they will raise between 50 to 100million naira and give to her to go into any business of her choice that will empower her for life and put her in a position that she will be able to look after herself and that of her children”

“In my opinion, politics can be likened to a gambling game”

“There is no way Tony Nwoye and his cohorts will not spend up to 100 to 200million naira in a desperate bid to ensure that Justin Azuka wins the August 16th bye election for Onitsha north 1 constituency, but one thing I know for sure is that if she did not win , they will abandon her and that is when the cobwebs covering Justin Azuka eyes will clear from her eyes”

“They should stop dragging her around in the name of politics and allow her to live up to the expectations of her late husband in the person of Justice Azuka” he said.

Obigwe lauded the decision of late Sen Ifeanyi Ubah”s widow not to go into politics when the duo of Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Sen Ndume urged her to come and contest the by election of Anambra South Senatorial District noting that the woman made the best decision.

$ When ifeanyi Ubah died, his colleagues in the Senate led by Akpabio and Ali Ndume wooed his Wife to throw her hat into the Senate race ring to take over the seat of his late husband but she refused and told them to allow her concentrate in taking care of their children”

“Justin Azuka made a very bad decision that she will end up regretting after August 16th”

“Using the unfortunate death of Azuka to be playing sympathy politics is a sacrilegious sin on the part of Tony Nwoye, idu Emeka and other of their cohorts” he submitted.
