In a provocative statement that is stirring nationwide political discourse, former House of Representatives member, Hon. Muhammad Kazaure, boldly predicted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will lose the 2027 presidential election before polling concludes.
The forecast was made in a viral video released by African Independent Television (AIT) on Wednesday, where Kazaure spoke amidst a gathering of political figures working toward an opposition coalition. The group, unified by a mission to unseat the current administration, appears to be gaining momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“By 12 noon on election day, Tinubu will be out. Nigerians have made up their minds,” Kazaure declared, surrounded by fellow opposition members.
Kazaure cited rising national frustration over economic challenges, insecurity, and unmet campaign promises as the fuel driving his bold claim. While supporters of the opposition celebrated the statement as a rallying cry, loyalists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) dismissed it as political grandstanding.
Political analysts suggest that Kazaure’s remarks, although speculative, reflect growing disenchantment in key demographics and regions. However, some have cautioned against premature conclusions, noting that Nigeria’s electoral landscape is often unpredictable.
As preparations for the 2027 election intensify, the battle lines appear drawn with rhetoric heating up and alliances forming. Whether Kazaure’s prediction proves accurate or not, it has certainly amplified public interest in the coming contest.
