The Chairman of Dass Local Government, Hon. Mohammad Jibo, convened a high-level stakeholder meeting aimed at addressing pressing development challenges and strengthening collaborative efforts in the community.
Loading ...The gathering held at the council headquarters in Dass LGA secretariat brought together a diverse Stakeholders and appointees. Discussions centered on critical areas including Party unity, inclusion and his achievements on education, healthcare delivery, infrastructure upgrades, and strategies for economic empowerment.
Hon. Jibo reiterated his administration’s dedication to inclusive development, highlighting recent achievements such as the distribution of relief materials to victims of the recent windstorm, and ongoing infrastructural projects designed to elevate living standards across the local government.
Following the stakeholder engagement, Hon. Jibo led a delegation to the palace of the Emir of Dass, HRH Alhaji Usman Mohammed Othman, to celebrate the monarch’s recent honor by the Nigerian Army during Armed Forces Celebration Day in Kaduna.
The Emir, visibly moved by the gesture, expressed deep gratitude to Hon. Jibo and the delegation for their support and recognized the chairman’s strides in community development. He pledged continued cooperation with the local government for lasting progress. The Emir has commended the Chairman for his style of leadership despite his age.
The delegation also offered sympathy to the Emir and the people of Dass over the destruction caused by the recent windstorm, reaffirming their collective support and resilience in face of the disaster.
The visit underscored Hon. Jibo’s and stakeholders commitment to unity, collaboration, and proactive leadership in Dass LGA which is the hallmarks of the Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed PDP led administration a government eager to deliver transformative change.
