All funds stolen from govt coffers must be accounted for in due course – Ukachukwu vows

Senator Nicholas Ukachukwu, the gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC in the upcoming November 8 governorship election in Anambra state has vowed to render a quarterly account of his stewardship through out the period of his stewardship as governor of the state.

On the other hand, he said he would bring the incumbent Governor Chukwuma Soludo-led APGA controlled government to account for all monies stolen from government coffers or misappropriated in due course

Ukachukwu who disclosed this on Tuesday at Nkwo market square, Ogidi in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state, in continuation of his governorship campaign tour of the 21 Local Government Areas of the state, said nobody can steal or misappropriate funds belonging to the state government and go scot free.

He lamented that the present situation where Governor Soludo is presently using government funds to sponsor his campaign and buy supporters at the expence of the masses, while other contestants are using their own personal funds for the campaign does not augur well for the advancement of democracy.

The governorship hopeful commended the good people of Anambra state for showing their solidarity support to him so and urged them to translate the support into massive votes for him and his running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunufe as they would not regret their support in the long run.

He pledged to train and equipment all citizens of the state who are interested in agriculture for massive mechanized agriculture in the state for self sufficiency and expoet.

He also pledged to introduce alternative source of power supply in the state to ensure steady power supply aimed at reviving all moribond industries in the state which would in turn create massive employment opportunities for our teeming unemployed youths.
