24 year old man killed His 80 year old biological father in Bauchi community – Police

Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 24 year old man, identified as Liman Muhammad Baba, for allegedly killed his biological father, 70;year old Malam Baba Siti, in Giade Local Government Area of the State.

Police spokesman Mohammed Ahmed Wakil said The tragic incident occurred on Thursday, July 3, at about 10:30 p.m., in Uzum village, Giade Local Government Area of Bauchi State,

Wakil said a good Samaritan reported the matter to the Police in Giade, and after Police received the information the Commissioner of Police Sani Omolori directed the DPO Giade to conduct a discreet investigation over the incident.

He said Detectives from the Division visited the scene of the incident and found the victim lied down I pool blood.
Wakil said the suspect hit his father with a stick he fell. down and died on the spot , when the detectives that visited the scene of the incident arrived they took the deceased body to hospital where Doctor certified him death.
He said Police continued with the investigation after which the suspect will be charge to court.

Residents of Uzum who spoke with reporters explained that the incident happened as result of domestic as altercation When an argument between the two escalated, leading Liman to strike his father on the head with a stick and the victim collapsed immediately and lost consciousness.

They said that the suspect used force on his biological father by striking him on the head with a stick, leading to the victim falling unconscious.

When Police arrived ,the suspect was arrested, and the victim was taken to the General Hospital in Giade, where a medical doctor confirmed him dead on arrival.
