The claim by All Progressives Congress APC gubernatorial candidate in Anambra state that President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has mandated him to bring Anambra state to the center of governance has been described as a white lie by the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA accusing him of name dropping.
Recall that yesterday at the Chinua Achebe Airport in Umuleri Anambra state Ukachukwu had some stated that Mr President directed him to deliver Anambra state to the center boasting that Gov Charles Soludo had no pact with the Presidency.
According to the release by Evang Chiedu Obigwe the coordinator of the APGA Media Warriors the statement of Ukachukwu is false adding that it is not up to him to say so but the Media Assistant to the President Mr Bayo Onanuga .
He further contended that with Gov Charles Soludo Anambra state is already connected to the center hence describing the position of Ukachukwu as mere bogus claims.
“To start with, Nicholas Ukachukwu is not the spokesman of President Tinubu and in that regards, he is not in a position to relay President Tinubu message to Nigerians”
“The person that has the right to do that is Bayo Onanuga , the Special Adviser on media to the President and others that are Media aides to the President”
“Nicholas Ukachukwu should have been plain in telling Anambra people that he is eyeing the job of Bayo Onanuga and Barrs Daniel Bwala”
“Another thing is that what Ukachukwu is claiming that the President told him to do is a herculean task”
“He was unable to deliver himself in Anambra South Senatorial election that he contested against ifeanyi Ubah in 2023 and that is to say that mandating him to deliver Anambra to APC is sending him on an impossible mission”
“When Nicholas Ukachukwu hijacked Anambra South Senatorial ticket in 2023 exactly the same way he hijacked APC governorship ticket, I remember vividly that he lost to Late Senator ifeanyi Ubah in almost all the 7 local government area in Anambra South”
“He won Osumenyi his home town in that 2023 general election through manipulation_
“As he wanted to force the collation officer to accept the Osumenyi manipulated election result, late Senator ifeanyi Ubah came to resist him at Nnewi South local government collation centre”
“As the drama was going on, ifeanyi Ubah got information that he has defeated him in almost all the local government in Anambra South and that dragging the Osumenyi manipulated result will spoil things for him , he turned around in a mockery way and told him that he is dashing him the Osumenyi manipulated result knowing very well that adding it will not affect his declaration as the winner of the election”
“So even if the President told Ukachukwu to deliver Anambra to APC, he is sending him for on an impossible mission”
“Governor Soludo will defeat Nicholas Ukachukwu with a wide margin on November 8th and Anambra electorates will resist Ukachukwu rigging plot with the last drop of their blood”
“Anambra electorates will vote for Governor Soludo and defend their vote for the Governor to continue transforming our State to the envy of other States in Nigeria”
“With Governor Soludo, Anambra is already aligned to the centre hence to for him to say that is to say that is tantamount to beating around the bush”
“When President Tinubu visited Anambra, he approved all the request made by Governor Soludo for the betterment of Anambra State and that is evidence to show that Governor Soludo is enjoying a good working relationship with the President administration”
“The President in his message to Anambra people attested to the undeniable fact that Anambra is rising under the able leadership of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo that is his friend”
“As long as the forthcoming November 8th governorship election is concerned, there is no vacancy in Anambra State”
“It is Governor Soludo for Governor till March 17th 2030 or nothing” he noted .
