In a sudden and shocking development, the esteemed Islamic scholar and preacher, Sheikh Dr. Idris Abdulazeez Dutsen Tanshi, has passed away. The news of his death, which reverberated through the religious community this morning, has left many in disbelief.

His straightforwardness, zero tolerance for injustice, and fearless approach in holding leadership accountable were truly remarkable,” Taimako remarked. “His death will create a vacuum in our society that is hard to fill. Regardless of divergent views about him, the impact he had on his followers and the wider Muslim ummah is undeniable.”
Sheikh Dr. Dutsen Tanshi’s death is seen as a significant loss to both the Islamic community and the wider society, where his voice of reason and unwavering stand for justice resonated deeply. “May Allah forgive his sins and grant his soul Aljannatul Firdausi,” Taimako added in his tribute, praying for the Sheikh’s eternal peace.
