In a remarkable demonstration of commitment to religious education and community development, Malam Mohammed Hassan (popularly known as Muhammad Usty ) organized a special event at Gudum Fulani Village in Bauchi Local Government Area, where 100 children were enrolled into Islamic education and 100 copies of the Holy Quran were distributed.
The event, held at Madarasatul Khadijatu Bintu Khuwalid Lil’ta’alimuddin Watarbiyyatul Islam, was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Dr. Yakubu Adamu and Engr. Shamsudeen Bala Mohammed. Their support reflects an ongoing effort to promote moral and religious values among the youth in alignment with the teachings of Islam.
Representing the sponsors at the event were Daure David and Usman M A Karofi. Speaking on their behalf, they emphasized the commitment of Dr. Yakubu Adamu and Engr. Shamsudeen Bala Mohammed to both religious and western education, as essential tools for the holistic development of children in Bauchi State and beyond.
School Headmaster, Mohammed Mohammed Bakari, expressed deep gratitude to the benefactors, calling for sustained support. He also acknowledged the continuous efforts of the First Lady, Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, in strengthening Tsangaya education across the state.
Chairman of the Mosque Committee, Malam Salihu A. Ahmed, lauded the initiative, noting its significance in nurturing the moral foundation of the younger generation. He declared the committee’s full support for the 2027 political aspirations of both Dr. Yakubu Adamu and Engr. Shamsudeen Bala Mohammed. He further praised the PDP-led administration under Governor Bala Mohammed, stating: “The governor has done so much for our communities. We owe him our loyalty and support.”
Imam of the community, Malam Dahiru Salihu, also commended the sponsors and offered prayers for their continued success. He reassured them of the community’s unwavering support and spiritual backing.
However, the representatives reaffirmed the commitment of Dr. Yakubu Adamu and Engr. Shamsudeen Bala Mohammed to continue supporting educational and religious initiatives as part of their dedication to community service and development.
This noble effort highlights the power of collaborative community engagement and political goodwill in advancing both religious and formal education in Bauchi State, complementing the ongoing efforts of Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration.
