In a significant political development, Senator Suleiman Mohammed Nazif, a former Deputy National Chairman and prominent member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has officially joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP), alongside his loyal supporters and political associates. This move marks a new chapter for Senator Nazif, who has long been a key figure in Nigerian politics.
After careful consultations and in response to the growing desire for change among his constituents, Senator Nazif announced his resignation from the PDP, choosing to align himself with a party that embodies true democratic values, good governance, and a renewed focus on Nigeria’s development. The decision is seen as a major step toward reshaping the political landscape, signaling a shift towards prioritizing service to the people over personal political ambitions.
Senator Nazif, who has held influential roles within the PDP, including as a member of the National Working Committee (NEC) and the Board of Trustees (BOT), is widely regarded for his statesmanship and dedication to Nigeria’s progress.
