The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the updated register of Rivers State voters together with the updated list of registered political parties in Nigeria. It was released to the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC).
The two documents were release against the upcoming local government area election scheduled for August 9, 2025. The documents were released through a letter dated March 13, 2025 and referenced as IBEC/RV/S/VR/494/155.
This was made known through a press statement by the RSIEC signed by Pastor Tobins.
