The Bauchi State Government has reaffirmed its determination to execute road infrastructures that will maintain compliance with the highest quality standard and boost economic growth for sustainable development.
The Hon. Commissioner Bauchi State Ministry of works and Transport Engr. Prof. Titus Saul Ketkuka made the statement today in his office, while briefing the press on the progressive level of road projects spread at the urban and rural communities in the state.
Prof. Ketkuka noted that the Governor Bala Mohammed road projects have a lot of economic impact, most of the agricultural areas are now accessible, rural communities being connected, he therefore charged the contractors to complete all the projects within the time Frame.
He said Governor Bala Mohammed administration remains focused on ensuring value for money being voted for the projects, expressed satisfaction on the progress of the road projects and the present commitment of the contractors handling the jobs.
Speaking on the recently approved 17 road projects in Bauchi metropolis by the Governor, Prof. Ketkuka said the construction of hydraulic facilities that includes drainages, a bridge and culverts have reached 90% completion and expressed optimism that the rainy season would not reduce the pace of the work.
Prof. Ketkuka while pleading with the Media to support the Government by improving and bridging communication gabs on infrustructural development policies, he also called on the good People of Bauchi State to reciprocate the Government gesture by supporting this administration to change the state narrative.
