A delegation of religious leaders in Anambra State has embarked on an extensive tour of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s major infrastructural projects in Awka, Anambra State, commending the administration’s visionary approach to urban transformation.
The tour, which provided firsthand insight into the government’s ongoing developmental strides, was led by the Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Protocol to the Governor, Hon. Chinedu Nwoye, who guided the clerics around some of the most ambitious projects in the state capital.
Among the key sites visited was the Solution Fun City, a multi-purpose recreational facility designed to enhance tourism and leisure in Anambra. The religious leaders explored its various sections, including the Country Club, Amusement Park, Water Park, and other modern attractions aimed at boosting the state’s social and economic landscape.
The delegation also visited the Trauma Center under construction at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku. The facility, currently undergoing total transformation, is expected to enhance emergency medical services and generally improve healthcare delivery in the state.
Another significant highlight of the tour was the inspection of the New Government House, a magnificent structure already touted as the largest government house in Africa. This reporter, Izunna Okafor, observed that the edifice, which had remained a pipedream for years until Governor Soludo assumed office, when completed, will serve as both the administrative hub of Anambra State Government and residence for top government functionaries.
Speaking after the tour, the religious leaders expressed their admiration for the pace and scale of work being executed under the Soludo-led administration across the state. They lauded the governor for his proactive governance, describing his infrastructural vision as transformative and unprecedented.
“We are amazed at what we have seen today. These projects are not just promises but tangible realities that will benefit the people of Anambra for generations to come. The governor deserves commendation for his foresight and commitment to development. They say that seeing is believing. Today, we have seen more than we had ever seen and believed more than we had ever believed,” one of the religious leaders stated.
The visit also features the faith-based leaders acknowledging the importance and potentials of the infrastructural projects in enhancing economic growth, improving social welfare, and improving the overall quality of life for Ndị Anambra
While attesting that Anambra State is on the progressive rise under the Soludo Administration, the clerics, who reaffirmed their solidarity with him, also urged the citizens to continually support the government’s efforts in building a and transforming the state into a modern, livable and prosperous homeland state, further emphasizing that collective responsibility remains key to sustainable progress in every society.
