The imbroglio unfolding the Rivers State house of assembly has continued to show new drama with each day.
Today, the State Governor of River State, Mr. Fubara arrived at the Rivers State House of Assembly to present the State Budget as requested by the members of the State Assembly. While at the location of the State Assembly, the gate to the entrance of the State Assembly was locked and there were not activities at the premises showing that the Lawmakers were present at the location.
The Governor, who arrived in the company of the Press, addressed the Press – telling them that he had arrived the location to comply with the demand of the lawmakers. He indicated that he had written the state legislature informing them of his visit. He made phone calls to the leadership of the state leadership. “Due process was followed to present the state budget“.
