Imo Professionals have refuted allegations against erudite professor Stella Nlemchi, the acting vice Chancellor of the prestigious Alvan Ikeoku Federal College Of Education, Imo State.
Their reaction came after serials of media Blackmail and attack from suspected individuals who’s alleged interest is to highjack her office as the vice Chancellor of the newly upgraded institution by every available means.
Dr. Chima Nwafor, a university lecturer in Imo who spoke for the group on Friday, revealed that Nlemchi Stella is one of the best lecturers in Imo who worked hard to pass through fundamental steps in her education career before promotion to a level of professor.
Reacting to what they described as fictitious allegations, Imo Professionals pointed that no well-meaning individual would challenge the credibility of Nlemchi who according to record have served the university as a lecture for more than 27 years without any verifiable indictment.
While cautioning those behind the blackmail, Imo Professionals added that the acting vice Chancellor, Nlemchi will not be distracted with Infantile allegations until her good Vision for the newly upgraded varsity is realized.
Another University Don who spoke on condition of anonymity as civil servant, confirmed that Nlemchi did not follow backdoors to obtain promotion as a professor.
The professor also revealed that those sponsoring attacks against Nlemchi is doing more harm than good against the interest of the students and entire academic class in Imo.
He said, they will continue to stand for justice at all times, urging all relevant authorities to jettison what he described as backbiting petitions from invisible individuals against the erudite professor of Home Economics.
Adding her voice, a female lecturer in the university of Imo State Owerri, Who did not want her name on print said they are aware of some people in the institution who were paid to fabricate unverifiable facts in documents just to tarnish the image of innocent Nlemchi and her new office as the vice Chancellor of Alvan Ikeoku Federal College Of Education.
She said, they will leave any stone unturned in their quest to enhance educational system in Imo, which is also part of Prof Nlemchi’s top agenda for Alvan Ikeoku.
She further threatened to expose individuals who are desperate to unseat Nlemchi from office, adding that education system is quite different from politics. Therefore urging the masses to overlook the Blackmail of fake Professorial promotion scandal circulated on media spheres.
“Professor Nlemchi Stella is one of our best in education institutions. Her integrity and hardworks stands tall, it’s only selfish and evil minded persons will discredit her.” The female lecturer said.
