Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, joined Taraba state counterpart, Governor Kefas Agbu on Saturday to celebrate as he gave his daughter, Keziah, in marriage to Bitrus Jnr Josiah.
The wedding, held in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, attracted notable figures from around the country.
Vice President Kashim Shettima served as the special guest of honor at the event while former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan acted as the Father of the Day, with Delta State Governor Sheriff Oberevwore as the Chairman of the Occasion.
Members of the PDP Governors’ Forum who were in Taraba for their monthly meeting, also attended the celebration.
During the church service, held at the indoor games hall of the Jalingo stadium, Bishop Foreman Nedison of The Great Gospel House Jalingo prayed for the couple, urging them to remain God-fearing and to respect one another as key to a lasting marriage.
