Ahead of the 2025 Governorship election in Anambra state the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA says it is sure of at least 1, 300,000 votes expressing confidence that Gov Charles Soludo would be re- elected as the governor of the state.

The party further stated that through the coming election Gov Charles Soludo would retire all the serial contenders for the seat of governor noting that the party has perfected plans in that regard.

Anambra state Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Barr Ifeatu Obi-Okoye who disclosed this while receiving the executive members of the Association of Non Indigenes In Anambra State ANIAS noted that with the support of the intimidating number of non Indigenes in the area his party is coasting to victory .
Obi Okoye announced that the Solution Kindred Initiative (SKI) launched by the party is already recording far reaching results adding that it is designed to make every kindred in Anambra state part of the administration of the governor.

“You see in the past people rely on the wards and polling units which is a total disconnection from the real masses who are voters but the system has changed in Anambra state”

“We have been able to reach out to every voter resident in Anambra state including the non Indigenes and what is going on is what I may call voter revolution”

“With what we have at the moment we are sure of at least 1,300,000 votes already in our net and by the time of the election it would surely be a walk in the park”

Obi-Okoye also stated that the 2025 governorship election in Anambra would retire a lot of contestants who always come out to vie for Governorship election noting that their time is up in the political landscape of the area.

“There are some people who are in politics and at every election they come out to contest for election and they have come out again to declare for Governorship but they have lost their deposit”

“We are going to retire them in 2025 and that would be their Waterloo in Anambra politics ”

“They do not have any structure and they are not on ground politically and all they come to do is to shake the table and go home ”

“We know them and some are from Anambra North Senatorial District and they want to contest just four year after Anambra North handed over to Anambra South and the others are trying to mislead the electorates that they will run for one tenure because they are from Anambra South but they will all be retired” he said.

Speaking earlier the National President of the Association of Non Indigenes In Anambra State ANIAS Prince Chigozie Nweke explained that as a body that is resident in Anambra state they would continue to support the government in power adding that with such support the non Indigenes would continue to have a fair climate to exist and go about their lawful businesses peacefully.

Nweke noted that the on going data capturing of members have been successful adding that the number has increased from 12 million to 13 million and urged other non Indigenes that have not been captured to contact their respective State Chairmen and get registered.
