The Imo State House of Assembly on Monday , June 3 screened and cleared five new commissioner nominees forwarded by the state Governor Hope Uzodimma.
The nominees were cleared by the Chike Olemgbe-led House of Assembly.
The cleared nominees are Rex Anunobi(Sokom); Henry Okafor, Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu, Professor Victor Ndubuisi
and Chukwuemeka Michael.
Their swearing-in date has not been announced.
Anunobi served in the first cabinet of the governor as Commissioner for Transportation.
