The 1st Lady and wife to Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru has assured that her office will liaise with Wives of Exco members in all her state projects.
The Governor’s wife disclosed this during a courtesy visit by wives of State Executive Council, SEC, members at her office, Ochudo Centenary City, Abakaliki.
Mrs Nwifuru, while appreciating wives of the Exco members for the visit, charge them to always display good character worthy of emulation by other women in the state.
She enjoined them to always pray for the success of their spouses in their various appointments and called for their support to her office in tackling Gender- based Violence, Child Trafficking, Child labour/Neglect and other crimes meted out to women and children.
Meanwhile, the leader of the team and wife of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr Mrs. Peace Odo on behalf of the Exco spouses said they were in her office on familiarization, also to appreciate her and the governor for entrusting such positions to their husbands.
Also, wife to the Chief of Staff, Mrs Nkechi Echiegu thanked the Governor’s wife for receiving them and assured that the current Exco spouses would make her proud.
