The General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), Francis Chukwu, has been reportedly removed.
Reports said Chukwu was swapped to the office of the ENTRACO, Environmental Transformation Commission, and the General Manager of the latter, Frank Nkem, appointed the General Manager of OCDA.
Our correspondent gathered that the former OCDA boss was swapped over allegations of highhandedness on the side of his staff, diversion over funds meant for the commission to his private pocket and boastful disposition of being indispensable to the Governor of Imo state, among other issues.
Frank Nkem, according to reports, will be officially assumed duty by tomorrow as the new General Manager of OCDA, as Francis Chukwu would replace him as the ENTRACO GM.
But when our reporter contacted Eberechukwu Okechukwu, the Media Aide to the former OCDA boss, he said the news was not yet official because his principal was yet to hear from the Governor on the true position of his office.
He however admitted that since the news had started flying, it may not be anyway far from the truth but would promptly revert to us once it is made official.
