The immediate past Tetfund Secretary Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro said all is set for the building of an Entrepreneurship Development Center EDC in Boi, Bogoro local government area to encourage the teaming youth to become self relaint in the state
Professor Bogoro made the statement while speaking during VII-MAA-YAA 2022 Annual Cultural Festival at Boi, Bogoro local government over the weekend in Bauchi. Noted the high demand of youth seeking for a job in the country necessitates for the establishment of vocational and skills accusations centers to equiped the youth.
According to Bogoro, said that the center if completed will provide more entrepreneurship skills and jobs opportunity to thousands youth in the area as well as generate more revenue income to the local government area.
He said that in few days to come all the necessary equipments needed at the center will be made available for the immediate take off the project at the center to enable the youth to commence training with a view to burst their economic status as well as to make them more productive and useful to community.
“The popurse of building the center is to look for ways of assisting the effort of the federal government in providing job for Nigerians, with a view to pave a way for our teaming graduate’s from the Universities, Polytechnic and other high institutions that are living at home without job in order to give them a sense of belonging and to benefits from the various vocational skills at the center”,.
He also advices the good people of Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa, particularly the youth to live in peace and harmony with each other so that development can prosper in the area, state and country at large.
The Ex-Tedfund boss however used the opportunity to also calls for continues support to the present administration of President Muhammdu Buhari and Governor Bala Mohammed for the overall development of the loca government, state and country at large.
Earlier, in his speech, the chairman Bogoro local government Mr. Iliya Habila thanked Prof. Bogoro for the gesture, and calls on the other politicians to emulate him.
Habila, then charged the parent to allow their children to be attending the center, and appealed on the youth to avail themselves to learn during training.
The local government chairman, commended governor Bala Mohammed for his empowerment programme and support to the area and urged people to rally round and support the led administration to achieve it’s desire goals.
