Impressed by his landmark achievements in Anambra state Sector Command, the Champaign for Democracy, CD, Anambra state chapter has bided the Assistant Corps Commander, ACC, P. M.Akpotobo farewell, following his recent transfer from Anambra to Kebbi state.
CD expressed optimism that Akpotobo would replicate his quality services in his new location which would in turn, earn him rapid promotions and enable him teach the pinnacle of his career.
Chairman of CD in Anambra state, Ekene Nnadi who made the commendation in a press statement he issued in Onitsha, said the commendation was stemmed from the fact that Akpotobo did marvelous jobs during his stay in Anambra state and in particular as Onitsha FRSC Unit Commander, UC.
Nnadi recalled that Akpotobo, as the then Onitsha UC was able to control traffic and reduced road carnages in Onitsha and its environs, particularly the dreaded Onitsha Niger Bridge-head and ensured free flow of traffic and vehicular movements, mostly during festivities.
According to the CD chairman, “it is no longer a news that while he held sway in Anambra state, Akpotobo carried out his official duties with human face, fear of God and service to humanity”.
