Aftaka writes Bauchi PDP stakeholders over House of Reps ambition

A grassroots politician Mahmud Babaliya Ahmad Aftaka, popularly known as Aftaka, has written Bauchi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders informing them of his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Misau/Dambam constituency.

A copies of the letter, which was distributed to reporters at the secretariat of Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Bauchi which was addressed to Kukadi Gundari ward executives, Local Government executives in Misau and Dambam LGs, Zonal executives and Bauchi State executives of the PDP.

“This is to formally and officially notify you of my intention to contest for the seat of House of Representatives, Misau-Dambam Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, under our great party the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 Elections Insha Allah,” part of the letter reads.

Aftaka, a two term leading aspirant of seeking for the seat of House of representatives member in the 2015 and 2019 elections respectively under the All Progressives Congress (APC), defected to the PDP about two years ago where he was received by many supporters.

He pledged to work for the victory of the PDP at all levels come 2023.

“I will subsequently fumish you with my time table and schedules of activities and officially meet with the wards, local govemment, zonal and state executives,” he said and sought for the cooperation of the stakeholders.

“People Democratic Party being a party for all irrespective of one’s affiliation or background, and same time a party with full noms and idcals of democracy, I do hope that I will be given the desired maximum cooperation, equal, formidable and level paying ground to actualize my aspiration to victory comes 2023”.
