All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), flag bearer in the Nov. 6 Gubernatorial Election, Prof. Charles Soludo has promised to consolidate on various achievements of Gov. Willie Obiano.
“’I will ensure that all ongoing projects started by our indefatigable Governor is completed and new ones initiated including Anambra West LGA.’’
Soludo made this promise at Mmiata Anam during APGA Campaign visit to Anambra West LGA, where he had gone to intimate them in his manifesto.
He said that if elected, he would open up the local area through various strong development plans, including finding a permanent solution to the annual flooding in the axis.
“As a matter of urgency we will liaise with the federal government to find the best possible solutions to the yearly flooding that has kept the area in perpetual backwardness, compared to other areas in the state.
“With me as governor, we shall provide one million seedlings yearly and loans for farmers in the area; provide employment for youths, school infrastructures will be attended to
“We will improve on the already existing healthcare facilities, consolidate and complete all ongoing road projects within the locality; build on the skills acquisition centres to complement the one on ground as well,’’ he stressed.
“All other basics infrastructures will be provided by my administration so that Anambra West will be in a position to compete with other local government areas of the state.’’
The former CBN governor eulogised the magnificent performance of the Obiano administration, with regards to infrastructure development.
He appealed to Ndi Anambra West to vote massively for his candidature and APGA, promising to surpass their expectations.
In an address Transition Committee Chairman, Mr Sylvester Orji-Okafor and Member representing Anambra West constituency in the State House, applauded Obiano’s achievements, promising that Ndi Anambra West would reciprocate by voting massively for Prof. Soludo.
They appealed for completion of all ongoing projects within the LGA when elected.
Mr Chinedu Obidigwe, resenting Anambra East and West at the National Assembly commended government of Anambra giant strides, noting that Soludo would consolidate on the achievements.
Obidigwe urged them to vote massively for APGA, urging them to double it for Prof. Soludo.
Dignitaries at the event are top government functionaries, traditional rulers, stakeholders, president’s-General and party faithful.
