The leadership of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Dass, Bogoro and Tafawa local government areas of Bauchi State have disclosed that very soon they will meet as party leaders and take decision against Yakubu Dogara for defecting to All Progressive Congress (APC) without notifying them.
This was contained in a press statement signed by three PDP local government Chairmen of Dass Ladan Kafi, Bogoro Emmanuel Zakka and Abdulla Abda respectively and copy made available to newsmen in Bauchi Monday
The statement said that, “Yakubu Dogara did not come back home to meet his constituents on whatever could have been the reason for his re-defection to All Progressive Congress”.
According to them none of the stakeholders within the party was consulted, contacted either written, or verbally or otherwise in the entire constituency on his intention for re-defection
“Base on the above reasons, the entire PDP family in Dass, the Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro federal constituency unanimously distance themselves from the action of Honorable Yakubu Dogara. The Party would now consult with the zonal and state party levels for the next line of action to be taken”.
