While global behaviour inches towards learning how to live with COVID-19 pandemic at both local and global levels, due to the absence of clear cut vaccine for the menace, Kano state governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje orders all contractors handling different government projects in the state to go back to sites.
This was made known by the governor at the commencement of the State Executive Council meeting, Wednesday, disclosing that, life could pick up steadily for the continued development of the state.
“It is pertinent to note that, people should understand lucidly that there will life after COVID-19. As such we should not sit back and give less concern about that,” he said.
After revealing that he ordered for the opening of all manufacturing companies in the state, to further take care of developmental aspect in the state in Post-COVID-19, governor Ganduje stated that “…with that, all workers of such companies can continue to earn their wages.”
As he reminded that, people should begin to learn how to live with the present condition, he equally commended all members of the state Executive Council for their roles in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
“Your individual and collective commitment during this period, shows that our philosophy of team work is strong and vibrant,” he concludes.
