His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON, ( Kauran Bauchi) has today flagged off the distribution of Keke Napep tagged ” Kaura Economic Empowerment 2020″ to various beneficiaries across the state.
Governor Bala said to ensure the actualisation of the project, Bauchi State Government deposited 250 million naira.
The governor during the occasion has made it clear that the ban of achaba operations in the state is a temporary and would be suspended when the State Government overcome criminal activities associated with the Okada Operation.
Governor Bala therefore assured that two vital components of wealth creation and economic empowerment plans to provide commercial loan cluster to traders and artisans are on final stage of collaboration with the Bank of Industry in which 250 million naira have been paid.
The historical distribution was attended by prominent personalities notably the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt Honorable Abubakar Y Suleiman, his deputy, Dallami Ahmed Kawule, Secretary to the State Government, Sabiu Baba, Chief of Staff, Government House Bauchi, Dr Ladan Salihu, State PDP Chairman, Hamza Koshe Akuyam and Honorable Commissioners.
