The National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Ozonkpu Dr. Victor Ike Oye, has condoled with the National Secretary of the party, HE Labaran Maku, over the death of two members of his elder brother’s family that were murdered in cold-blood by armed men in Gudi Village, Akwanga, Nasarawa State yesterday.
In a press release in Abuja, signed by the National Publicity Secretary of APGA, Barrister Tex Okechukwu, the National Chairman described the gruesome murder of Usman and Saadatu as unfortunate and callous.
He expressed deep pain at the sad incident, adding that government should intensify security across the length and breadth of the country to forestall the waste of precious human lives.
He urged Labaran Maku to take what had happened as the will of God, while praying for the peaceful repose of the souls of the departed.
“This singular incident has thrown the APGA family into inconsolable grief, because what affects one member affects all of us in the party,” Oye concluded.
