The sleepy community of Sabon Kaura have applauded the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed for the kind gesture his administration has brought to their town.
One of the community elders who spoke to 247ureports.com was Madam Mowa. She spoke in her native language of Hausa – and rained praises for the Bala administration.
She thanked God that He has finally heard their prayers as they have lived in the town without any roads. She thanked the Governor over and again. She indicated that the community had stayed for 50 years without roads.
The road has quickly become one of the busiest roads in the area. New economic activity have begun springing up along the new constructed road.
The Sabon Kaura road is a 6.2kilometer road flagged off by the Governor during his first 100days in office as per of N5billion road construction project that comprised of Ibrahim Bako to Maiduguri Road bye- pass [4.4 kilometers], Yakubun Bauchi Quarters [1.8 kilometers] and Muda Lawal market [1 kilometer].
The entire road projects have been completed and ready for commissioning.
