So APC calls on Governor Bala Mohammed to resign over what it defines as an appalling scandal. When will APC call on Ibrahim Magu to resign over allegation of “re-looting the loot” recovered from other looters labelled against him by Nigeria’s Chief Law Officer, Abubakar Malami, SAN? Or is it a case of some looters are more equal than others? What is more appalling a scandal than the Attorney General of the Federation accusing the nation’s Chief Anti-corruption Officer of re-looting the loot recovered from other looters? Seems like Bauchi APC has no job to do. The crass impunity in the party, which has torn it into several pieces is a non-issue to them. The political banditry we have seen during the 2019 primary elections, which cost the party dearly across the country is also a non-issue. APC should embark on a soul searching of sorts. But if the party choose to live by the motto of no apologies and no regrets, then it must teach itself to live and let live.” – stated an All Progressive Congress [APC] Chieftain and an aspirant to the House of Representative in the 2019 electoral exercise, Malam Musa Azare following the declaration by the APC in Bauchi calling for the resignation of the Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed over a supposed landed property in Wuye, Abuja FCT – which was allocated during the period Senator Bala Mohamed served as the FCT Minister.

It is recalled the silence which overtook the APC bullhorn when the APC government embarked on appointing self-professed corrupt officials into the Presidential cabinet as ministers. One of the many self-professed crooks appointed to Buhari’s federal executive council is Uche Oga. Ironically was appointed minister designee while he was still completing the terms and conditions of his plea bargain with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC]. He was told pay back N1.6billion out of the monies he was found to have illegally acquired.

Another alleged financial offender that made the presidential executive council is the former Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio – who dumped the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] to join the APC following fears of possibly arrest by the EFCC. Having numerous petitions at the EFCC, Akpabio received a clean bill of health after his defection. Months after Buhari’s reelection, he was named to one of the most lucrative ministries – the Ministry of Niger Delta.

The APC, according to Musa Azare remained mute. Only to speak up when frivolities arose.

When 247ureports.com reached the Chairman of the APC in Bauchi, Uba Ahmed Nana – he indicated that the APC may opted to call on the State Assembly to launch a probe. He did not respond to why the APC had remained mute over the other glaring financial illegalities.

The Bauchi government through the media aide to the Governor, Mukhtar Gidado described APC’s call as mischievous.
