Covid-19: Anambra Police command screens personnel

The Anambra state police command headquarters has in compliance with the directives of the state’s Commissioner of Police, CP John B.Abang; the Command Medical Officer, CSP, Dr. Emelike and his staff have commenced temperature checks on officers and men at the State Command headquarters as precautionary measures against Coronavirus.

In furtherance to controlling the spread and infestation of the virus on officers and visitors to the command’s offices, hand sanitizers were also now placed strategically for use at strategic entrances.

In a statement from the command’s public relations officer(PPRO), Haruna Mohammed, all heads of departments, (HODS) and Divisional Police Officers(DPOS)were equally directed to replicate same at their respective offices as well.

So far, no officer has tested positive to the fast spreading covid-19 pandemic.
