The Police Commissioner, Anambra state Command, Mr John Bassey Abang has sustained the monitoring of security and traffic situations in parts of the state considered as flash points.

In a statement from the command’s public relations officer, Haruna Mohammed, the visits/tours are to ensure that there is free flow of traffic at all points.

He has scheduled and embarked on several such visits especially the commercial city of Onitsha, the River Niger bridge approach from where several complains were recorded within the week.

He has remained on his toes, vowing to ensure there was no traffic gridlock in any part of the state, particularly points where traffic hiccups have been known to be common.
