Josephine Nyiakula Emerges New Chaiman, Benue CAMPAN

The Benue State Chapter of Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN), has elected new executives to run the organisation for the next three years.

The association held its congress last saturday, 12th October 2019 elected Josephine Nyiakula of Radio Nigeria, Harvest FM  as the chairman, while Doom Ikerave of the NTA as the Secretary General.
Others elected include Jude Atakpugh, Vice chairman, Joyce Abua  Assistant Secretary, Hembadoon Orsar Organising Secrerary, Ann Echor, Financial Secretary, Scholastica Hir Treasurer with Jerry Jime as Auditor.
The immediate past Chairman, Bem Haanya and Secretary Brenda Agba emerged as Ex-Officios.
Speaking after her election, Josephine Nyiakula thanked God that for the successful election and mbers for finding her and other worthy to lead the organization.
Mis Nyiakula who pledged the commitment of the new EXCO to move the association forward, therefore solicited for cooperation and support from members to enable them succeed.
She also prayed for God’s wisdom, grace and strength to move the association forward.
“Today, you have graciously elected me and my colleagues to lead the association for the next three years, I want to assure you that we will not let the house down.
Earlier, the Director of Social Communication, Makurdi Diocese,  Rev. Fr. Moses Iorapuu who congratulated the new exco also applauded the immediate past executives for their efforts just as he appreciated Rev Fr James Utav for a fair conduct of the election.

Fr. Iorapuu said those who started the association had a big vision and encouraged the new exco to keep that vision alife saying anything noble is what doing well.

“As elected members, you have a responsibility to ensure that you bring old and new members back on board.

While pledging his continous support to the association, Fr. Iorapuu urged the new exco to carry all members along so that together they can move the association to an enviable height.
