Gov Ikpeazu appoints special adviser on project monitoring and implementation

Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has appointed Engr Uzo Nwankwo as special adviser on project monitoring and implementation.

Nwankwo, a first class graduate of civil engineering University of Benin, also holds a  masters degree in structural engineering from Imperial College, London.

He is a fellow of several engineering bodies and have put in over 30 years on project design and implementation.

Nwankwo’s job specification according to release by the state commissioner for information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, is to work with state’s commissioner for works to ensure best practice, speedy delivery of quality projects.

 Others are to certify soil tests, ensure compliance with specifications, and endorsement of all relevant job completion certificates before payment by government.
