People identified as armed robbers has killed 3 Policemen and a driver in the convey of Nasarawa State Deputy Governor,Dr.Emmanuel Akabe.
A reliable source said the convey of the number two citizen runned into a road block mounted by armed bandits at the popular “Many has gone” killing four persons including a driver of a Sharon.
The Deputy Governor was on his way to the nation’s capital to attend a function,as at the time of filling this report,the attacked happened at about after 8:20pm
As at press time names of the deceased officers are not yet known reason been that the Deputy Governor has no Press
Secretary.
“Many has gone” is a flash point over the years where activities of bandits reign supreme.
The Police Public Relations Officer,Ismail Umar could not be reached for comment.
