The apex Yoruba youth body, Yoruba Youth Socio-cultural Association (YYSA) Worldwide has expressed worried over failure of police to arrest suspected murder of Mrs Funke Olakunrin since two weeks ago.
YYSA said, the fact that any case that has to do with killers’ herdsmen always experiences delay attesting the level of impunity they enjoy in Nigeria.
Assuming that police want to carry out their duty diligently as expected without shielding them, they would have been arrested and apprehended in less than a week.
The real killers of Mrs Olakunrin must be arrested without further delay.
And any attempt to confine fake criminals would not be tolerated. We want the genuine culprits to be apprehended and prosecuted.
