Benue South Senatorial PDP Primaries Postponed To October 3

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Primaries for Benue South Senatorial district has been postponed to 3rd October 2018.
The Party Chairman, Mr John Ngbede who made the announcement said Benue Zone C (Benue South Senatorial District) was postponed due to reasons beyond the immediate control of the committee.
A source who begged to remain anonymous said all was set for the commencement of the PDP primary for Benue south senatorial seat after a stakeholders meeting that was held to straighten out some issues.
“All issues were resolved amicably and accreditation started this evening at the Otukpo council secretariat, but we were surprised to hear the announcement”, the source said.
247ureports gathered that the national committee for the conduct of the primary has long returned to Makurdi with the electoral materials.
It should be noted that three aspirants are contesting for the seat of Benue South Senatorial District which has been occupied by former Senate President, Senator David Mark for close to 20 year.
The aspirants include Hon Joseph Ojobo member Benue House of Assembly, Chief Mike Onoja and Former Minister of Interior, Comrade Abbah Morro.
