RCCG Inaugurates Another Zone In FCT

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has inaugurated another zone in the Feferal Capital Territory, named Divine Favour Zone under FCT 9.

The new zone has, however, dedicated a new auditorium built within 15 months.

While dedicating the new auditorium yesterday, Pastor in-charge of region 10, E. A Ibitayo, the church a blessing not only to the immediate environment but Abuja and beyond.

The Assistant Regional Pastor, David Adewuyi, who stood in for the Region 10 leader, in his sermon titled ‘Zero to hero’ said for anyone to experience turn around he or she must obey instructions, saying “obedience is better than sacrifice.”

Reading from the book of 1King 17 verse 8-16, Pastor Adewuyi, who lauded the courage of the Pastor in-charge of the new zone, Emmanuel Udeagha, said listening to instructions and following the Lord, “even though it is painful’ as one of the steps to divine favour in life.

“Our God is a lifter. He can lift someone from zero to hero,” he added.

Earlier, the new zonal pastor, Emmanuel Udeagha, who took over the parish with just eleven members, said in his welcoming address that when he and his wife took over tbe area as PIC in-charge of Area, they were like being at zero level.

“We took off knowing too well that it is only by the mercy of God that can make the parish stand. With the understanding that we needed to move from where we were as the owner of the land needs to make use of the place, and having no money, very few members, the situation was dire.

“We held on to that prayer and before long God began to manifest himself in our lives so much so that friends hitherto, I would not have counted as helpers or would have expected little or nothing, who are not members of this church began to call us to support us and the open doors God gave to our family during this period that necessitated the rapid building and completion of this church building.”
