Uche Secondus, national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led protesters to the national assembly on Thursday over the alleged brutality of PDP members, including Ayodele Fayose, governor of Ekiti. Secondus said he led the delegation to submit a petition to the lawmakers on the alleged action of the police.
According to the spokesman of the party, “The NWC of our great party @OfficialPDPNig led by prince @UcheSecondus led a protest to @inecnigeria HQ to express our dissatisfaction. We must not allow anyone,no matter how highly placed to put our democracy at risk“.
Fayose had accuseD an unidentified policeman of slapping him.
